BDSM Human Puppy Play Bondage Guide

By Ekaterina Mironova

Puppy play is an adult fetish and a form of roleplay that allows the participants to escape from their everyday stressful lives. People who participate in puppy play often want to unleash their animal instincts and pretending to be a pup enables the person to forget about their problems and let go of their human inhibitions.

Being in a pup and master relationship lets the participants enjoy companionship, loyalty, affection, friendship and playfulness (all the great attributes of our canine companions).

One person will assume the role of being the owner/master of the puppy, while the other plays the role of the pup. The master/handler is usually the more dominant person, while the submissive person is often the pup. The handler can either use the pup as a slave or a companion; it’s up to the individual. Human pups are a male or female who identifies closely with the real biological pups/dogs.

The person may just take on the persona of being a pup or they may take things further and dress as a pup. Most pups will want to get on all fours, frolic around on the floor, sniff butts, play with toys, fetch bones, bark and wag tails. Pups like to wear a collar and lead so their master /handler can walk them. There are dog muzzles, dog harness, dog masks, spiked collars, leads, puppy dog tail anal plugs, mitts, knee pads and electric shock collars.

Pups may have to wear chastity devices to stop them from humping things. Some pups may be crate trained (trained to spend some time in a cage). The pup may sleep on a mat on the floor or may be allowed to sleep on the bed. The master has full control over their pup and the pup must obey. The master will tell the pup if they can get up on the couch, tell them where to sleep, make the pup eat out of a bowl on the floor, roll over, sit, stay, come when called and ask the pup to fetch the paper.

The master does have the role of creating a strong and reliable bond with the pup and they will form a mutual respect for each other. The master must take care of the pup, bath the pup, brush the pup, feed the pup etc. The pup will need to be socialised and trained by the master.

The master teaches the pup what behaviours are expected, how to act in certain circumstances and how to please the master. The master may teach the pup tricks; teach the pup to bring your slippers, lick your feet, fetch you food and fulfil your sexual needs. The pup gets treats for doing the right thing; could be a food reward, a tummy rub, pat on the head or a sexual favour.

Puppy play does not always involve sexual intercourse and it’s not about sexual attraction to dogs! Pups can be attracted to the sexual side of being an animal, either by themselves or with their master.

People find that the submissive/ dominate relationship of puppy play to be both sexually arousing and satisfying. Boundaries and rules must be set in place before you begin puppy play. Pups enjoy lying at their master’s feet and getting their tummy scratched. Some pups choose to only play with human friends, when others have other pup friends.

Some masters may make up an obstacle course for the pups to have some fun with and learn different challenges. Participants in puppy play can be either slightly involved or let the puppy play engross their whole lives.

So maybe sit back and unwind, pretend to be a dog for a day.
